Formetric 4DoverviewThe Diers Formetric 3D/4D has all the capabilities of the Formetric 3D plus the ability to add time as a variable in the scanning process. This additional functionality gives the practitioner the capability to record various neuromuscular exams such as the Matthias Test, the Rohmberg Test, one legged stance. Utilizing a treadmill or stair stepper observations can be made on the movement of the pelvis and back during these exercises. The practitioner can set the duration and frequency of scans taken during the test. The resultant scans can be viewed individually or in the form a movie (frequency of scans will determine the choppiness of the movie). Graphs of the results are utilized to evaluate changes of user selected parameters over the time frame of the test. The practitioner can observe changes in kyposis or lordosis angle, torsion of the pelvis, lateral movement of C7 or whatever is of interest to the practitioner. |
