Stimulation platformThe Diers Formetric Simulation Platform is an adjunct to the Formetric family of 3D spinal imaging products. It is a user adjustable platform for each foot that enables elevation, inversion/eversion, and plantarflexion/dorsiflexion of the patients feet. Any combination or these movements are possible. Inversion and eversion adjustments are done along the long axis of the foot and therefore are independent from plantarflexion and dorsiflexion components of movement. These measurements are recorded in the results of each Formetric image. The Simulation Platform gives the practitioner the ability to analyze the effect of foot corrections on the spine and substantiate prescriptions. The Simulation Platform gives the ability to find the optimum correction thru incremental changes of 1 mm in any of the movements. Optimized prescriptions yield optimized results. |
